Learning Paths are a way to provide guidance for learners, by curating a set of learning materials to go through. There are many ways to learn the same thing, and therefore several learning paths can be created for the same learning goal: with different prerequisites, a different teaching style or a different type media.

How to create a learning path

  1. Navigate to an applicable Topic Page or the Menu Bar
  2. Click "Create New" on the right hand side or on the "Learning Path" menu drop down
  3. Type in a name for the learning path
  4. Start adding resources, ****in the order in which they should be consumed
    1. You can search existing resources or add new ones on the spot
    2. You can change the order of resources by dragging and dropping them where they belong
    3. Before each resource, you can add some text introducing it
  5. Add a description
  6. Optional: add complementary resources
  7. Add any prerequisites that should be understood prior to beginning the path
  8. Add any covered SubTopics (the concepts that the learners will go through)
  9. Add the estimated duration it takes to go through the learning path
  10. Add any relevant tags
  11. Publish: On publishing the learning path will be available for anyone on the platform to see.
