- Navigate to a Topic Page
- Click "Suggest SubTopic" on the right hand side
- Type the name of the topic. If a topic of the same already exist, you might want to either:
-
Connect it as a subtopic of this topic as well
or
-
Create a new topic but with a different context
- Assign a level of difficulty to the Topic, relative to its parent topic/its context
- In some cases it does not make sense to add a level, for instance when the subtopic is a category of group of concepts. In this case, just toggle “Not applicable”
- Select "pull from Wiki" or add a detailed description to describe the resource
- Make sure the description is short and sweet. Most of the time descriptions pulled from Wikipedia will need a bit of reworking:)
- Select the Topic type(s)
- When clicking “other” you have the possibility to enter a custom topic type
- Optional: Update the customized URL (e.g. if the auto-generated one is already taken or weird looking)
- Add any prerequisites that should be understood prior to consuming the resource
- Add the SubTopic!
